Diana Vuolo: Kids & Incarceration

We were grateful to hear from Diana and her work with SWAN, an organization of committed to coming alongside kids with a parent behind bars.

Through music therapy, mental health care, and Bible lessons, kids are seen, and their music is heard. As a result, healing occurs and trust is built.

Diana showed a few videos and answered our questions about the challenges facing Lancaster county’s 3,000 or so kids facing uncertainty due to incarceration. She also shared how her own story has led her into this vital work of advocacy.
