Leading A.I. Well: How is That Possible?

  • Square Halo Gallery 37 N. Market St. 17603 US (map)

Jason Baker, PhD

Why this Forum?

Join us for a big learning curve from someone who knows his stuff about technology. After all, no one is talking about Artificial Intelligence, right? Definitely not.

But how often have you heard an informed perspective on this technology from an a practicing Christian?

You ‘fraid of A.I.? Or just tired of hearing about it? Then this event is for you because this’ll be different.

Who is this Jason Baker?

Baker holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University, a Master of Computer & Information Technology – Data Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University.

He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University (where he was an undergrad when Tom & Becky Becker served alongside him in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship).

Currently serving as a professor and senior technology strategist for Regent University, most of Baker’s work has been at the intersection of engineering and education.

Jason and his wife Julianne were undergraduates in the campus ministry Tom and Becky worked with at Bucknell University way back in the 90s when Sugar Ray was really happening. Trust us on that.

Baker consults with organizations on developing and managing online learning programs. He’s authored and edited numerous books, chapters, and articles on the wise use of technology.

What to Expect?

  • A talk based on Jason’s latest book, Leading AI Well: An Executive's Guide to AI Strategy (the AI education your MBA didn't include).

  • Q&A on whatever tickles your fancy, of course.

  • Awesome decaf coffee, other drinks, finger food.

Who’s This Event For?

Anyone, really, but especially for those who have burning questions about how A.I. should be embraced and lead well: Educators, artists, parents, business and organizational leaders. Also, current ChatGP-cheaters, early abandoners (like Tom), and skeptical culture watchers alike are welcome to keep the conversation vibrant and honest.
